Objectives

Reach out to the runaway, abandoned, orphan and semi-orphan children and address their needs.

Provide the basic necessities like food, shelter, clothes, education, health care, recreation, counseling and skill training etc.

Help children become aware of themselves, their problems and understand their potential to help themselves.

Spread awareness and understanding among the general public about the problems of the needy children and how to take care of them.

Instill in the children a sense of harmonious and socially integrated living, thus contributing to the global need for a cleaner, healthier and more peaceful environment and future.

Reunite the children with their families and assist the family members to understand their children better.

To achieve its objectives SKCV works closely with various like-minded organizations:

SKCV-UK Trust

Provides guidance and funding support.

Dr. Sridhar International Dental Hospital:

Regular Dental Camps are conducted for SKCV children and required treatment is given.

Telugu Association-Malaysia

SKCV children participate in the Students Cultural Exchange Program in Malaysia every year.

Crossfire Helping Hand

A group of young doctors belonging to CHH conduct periodical Medical Camps at SKCV Children’s Homes.

Child Welfare Committee

SKCV functions as per the directions of the Child Welfare Committee.

Local Colleges/Universities

Students visit SKCV Children’s Homes and conduct extra-curricular activities.

Vivekananda Centre

Teaches Yoga and Meditation to SKCV children.

Local Donors

Individual and Institution-based donors contribute cash and kind donations to SKCV.
